The Kynren Guide to History
Kynren is a history-themed outdoor attraction in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Its principal production, Kynren: An Epic Tale of England, is a live night-time show that depicts key moments from British history over 2,000 years.
Having invited us to experience their award-winning spectacle, the Kynren team asked us to devise a bespoke publication as a companion for the event’s many thousands of annual visitors.
In response, we developed The Kynren Guide to History, a multi-purpose pocket guide that delves deep into England’s colourful past. Packed with images, full of fascinating facts, and with a timeline through the centuries, it leads the visitor through the show, scene by scene. Our guide now forms an unequalled keepsake of the show that enables visitors to relive the Kynren experience at home and discover the extraordinary stories behind the events it portrays.

Signing off the first printed sheets as they come off the presses is an essential part of our process. We encourage our customers to come along for this, for extra piece of mind, if they so wish.
As with all our publications, we are committed to representing Kynren in a sustainable way – that’s why we print in the UK with a carbon neutral printer, on FSC certified paper balanced with the World Land Trust.
