St Albans Cathedral - An Illustrated Timeline
St Albans Cathedral have a permanent timeline installation within the entrance to the Cathedral giving visitors an instant picture of the chronology of the building. The way visitors engaged with the installation prompted the Cathedral’s retail department to approach Memory Lane with the task of converting the timeline into a more in-depth 'take home' version. We then devised and produced a 10 page concertina style, fully illustrated timeline for sale to Cathedral visitors.
Drawing inspiration from the Cathedral floor tiles, and using their archive imagery and branding style, the resulting timeline has become a real favourite with the Cathedral’s gift shop customers.
