A Legacy of Light - Stained Glass of the National Cathedral of Ireland
Often an iconic building such as a cathedral or historic house will have architectural or decorative features worthy of reproducing in a standalone way. Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, has over 40 stained glass windows and, with so many beautiful and varied designs and stories behind them, the Cathedral’s management team rightly felt that these deserved to be honoured in a book of their own.
Memory Lane undertook the complete project, a highlight of which was the meticulously planned two day shoot with our photographer Tristan Hutchinson. His stunning images capture the windows in breathtaking detail.
Presented in a clean, image-led format to display the intricacies of the window designs, this exceptionally beautiful book was ecologically printed in the UK on FSC accredited paper, with carbon emissions offset with the World Land Trust.

The image-led book captures the details of the outstanding stained glass with bold layout design.

With informative captions and a section on how to read stained glass, the book serves as an educational yet beautiful keepsake from a visit to Saint Patrick's.

The 80 page book has an 8 page fold out cover that presents a site map and index for the visitor to locate the windows whilst at the Cathedral.
“Memory Lane were an excellent choice. Their holistic, detailed, and meticulous approach has resulted in the delivery of an incredibly high-quality publication.”
