Mia is a British-Danish artist and illustrator based in East Sussex. She loves drawing scenes filled with magic and wonder, bringing imaginative characters to life with an underlying message to appreciate and spend time in nature.  She lives in the Sussex countryside and is inspired daily by her woodland surroundings, three mischievous cats, seven chickens and friendly cow who visits daily.  

Mia studied at the London College of Communication and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and has spent more than 20 years collaborating with blue chip companies and sector leading publishers. Memory Lane’s commissions draw on her skills in traditional drawing and painting, digital illustration, repeat patterns, maps, layouts, custom fonts, and writing her own stories.

Memory Lane enjoyed collaborating with Mia on the conceptualisation, development and delivery of the ‘Glow Wild’ Activity Pack for RBG Kew (Wakehurst).
